Strathmore Road Methodist Church in Rowlands Gill joined with Chopwell Methodist Church on the 1st September 2019 to become one church on two sites. Whilst Covid-19 restrictions have provided everyday challenges, the joint churches have sought to explore together what it means
to be one church family, with two centres of mission. The Church is now seeking to develop its mission and witness across the Derwent Valley. In so doing, we encourage lifelong learning in the Christian faith and seek to provide opportunities for people to develop their faith and understanding.
