Help and Support 

As part of a caring community SRMC is here to provide help, advice and support where we can.

We have a range of community support initiatives, all are open and available to everyone in our community. 

Rescued Food Market


Mondays 10.30am - 11.30am Help avoid food waste and get a large bag of groceries  for a donation £3.00. The range of food varies week to week but always contains fresh fruit and vegetables, dried and tinned food and bread.

 

Warm Space


We are a GMBC Warm Space so please feel free to call in, get warm, sit and chat over a hot drink or read a book from our mini library,  WiFi and phone charging available. Mondays 9am until 1pm.

Cafe


The pay as you feel cafe is open from 9am until 1pm. Bacon sandwiches from 9am till 10.30am  and soup and roll from 11.30am, with free tea, coffee, biscuits throughout.

Citizens Advice


Getting the right independent information you need to help solve problems is crucial. 

A Citizens Advice Advisor is available on a drop in basis from 9am until 1pm on Mondays.
No appointment necessary.


Urgent Need Support


If you or anyone you know is in urgent need of food or support with energy bills or keeping warm we may be able to help.

Prayer and spiritual support


As well as services on Sunday mornings  and evenings we are here to provide spiritual support at anytime.
If you would like prayer or would like to discuss any issues of faith we are available to help.
We have a friendly team of volunteers who will treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
